Welcome back to our weekly FashionVOTE by He - Who Wore it Better? "Colored Tights" edition. Typically He isn't a fan of colored tights, He has written about them before when peopel took colored tights to a new level and when they just looked ugly. But after these two pictures, He has a new found faith that colored tights can look good...Let's see how the ladies of "Who Wore it Better?" did this week. He breaks down the two looks...

Girl 2: Looks like a bad bad attempt of trying to be a Nasty Girl or a Motel Rocks girl, either way, trying to replicate what you see on a model or manican, doesn't always work. The hat looks silly, the boots even sillier. Obviously this looks isn't one of He's favorites, but we move on.
Girl 1: The word love comes to mind. Sweater dress, nice! Boots with a heel, and a little high sock action poking through, He loves this look more and more as the days get colder and colder. The unsuspecting purple tights, first time ever He has seen colored tights and liked them, so credit to this girl for pulling it off so well. Not sure this was a fair fight, but let's vote.

Sweatpants - The Good vs The Ugly...

The argument continues another day on Fashion by He, as He brings back the Sweatpants discussion. He has brought you pictures of ugly sweatpants and even uglier sweatpants. He brought the discussion to the blog a long while ago asking if sweatpants were ever ok, He feels that given the right look, there is no issue with sweatpants. As He previously wrote, Mariah Carey is gross in sweatpants, models and girls like Lena are not!

Yesterday, He was walking down the street, and this chick in front of He (seen above) was wearing little boy sweatpants and some ugly cut out sandals. It was real bad, look at the pictures, He almost considered tripping her, just to make the moment funnier. Obviously flats and sweatpants do not match. Let's make that Rule 1. No Flats. Rule 2, no kiddie sweatpants and flats. Check out Lena, from Quality Rivets, seen on the right, this chick f*cking gets how to pull this look off. Heels! When in doubt with most any outfit, it can instantly be made to look better by adding heels.

Rule 3 - wear heels. On top of that by wearing the heels, Lena is showing off MAJOR ankle cleavage and calf cleavage. By now we all know how much ankle cleavage makes He happy. Bottom line is, Lena makes this outfit look good and therefore, He thinks YES sweatpants are okay to wear and can be worn and dressed up to go anywhere. BUT if you choose to wear them like that wacko on the left, may the ArmHe have mercy on your soul.

Months ago, He wrote a post asking Models why they typically look so bad when they aren't being paid to look good. It would seem that models around the world, read the He post, and decided to step up their games. On that note, applause to all the models in NYC lately, because He has seen a ton of you walking around looking amazing. So He wants to give some credit where its due....But for now...Let's see how the ladies of "Who Wore it Better?" did this week. He breaks down the two looks...

Girl 1: Or should He say, Model 1, super tall, black leggings, little flap over bottle heels. Nothing too high, but this chick was seriously tall. He is a tall guy, but this chick had even He beat. There was like a floral flowing dress underneath. Bright red jacket and a small shoulder bag. Model 1 got He's attention, but not sure everyone else was looking. Hair up.
Girl 2: AKA Model 2, brought her freakin game out today. Again, Hair up and we got the short red jacket, black leggings. To stay warm Model 2 had on a HUGE scarf, like it was probably enough scarf material for 2-3 people, but somehow it worked. For a tall chick to strap on a high pair of wedges, you instantly get He's attention and Approval.

Girl 1: Our working girl of the two, blackberry in hand shes ready to answer all of your emails while enjoying some sunshine. He is definitely feeling the black dress, but the Heels are where He runs into some problems. Girls always tell He, its work I dont need to wear 4" heels, well guess what, F*ck you. Only the 4" get the promotions and the top jobs, keep wearing your 2" heels and you will go no where.
Girl 2: This is definitely our sexy student of the week. Black tank top jumper, capri style, showing off that ankle cleavage, which all kn0w is hot. Girl 2 has on like 4" wedges all tied up and twisted, but hey that "the way i like to be" (if you know the song) Girl 2 is also sporting a lot more jewelry then Girl 1. Gold Bangle, or stacked bracelets, hard to tell, but either way, He Approves.

Girl 1: You will have to take He's word for it, but this girl was a 10, no doubt HottHe matieral. But anyway she was wearing a simple white tshirt with military style wind pants almost. He doesn't know what they were, and didn't exactly think it was right to walk up an touch them. So we are left to wonder. Girl 1 was going strong with at least a 4" wedge, He approved.
Girl 2: Girl 2 has more of khaki green military inspired pant on and to tell you the truth, the fit needs some work. But she did have on very high wooden style JC clogs, so that earned her big points.

How Much Longer Before Latex is Acceptable?

With the rise of popularity of the BCBG Skirts and the PDB Skirts, He starting wonder how much longer until Latex becomes an acceptable article of clothing. Woman already are wearing skin tight leggings, and skin tight skirts, but very few have gotten into the relm of latex. To He latex has always had that sexual aura about it, the kinky people dress up in latex body suits and go to gang bangs. But He is willing to bet sometime soon, a smart designer, perhaps one inspired by this very post, will come out with a fashion forward line of latex clothing.

It is the next logical step in fashion world. Leggings are tight, but don't show off leg, so we started added lace and rips and cuts into the. Skirts were short enough, so we made them shorter and tighter. Since we currently cannot get any tighter then the elastic dresses and skirts that have blanketed the world, the only possibly solution would be to bring latex into the mix, which will allow woman to wear a second layer of skin.

He sees absolutely nothing wrong with this movement. Hell He should start designing a line of this latex stuff, the pictures above look pretty damn good. Ok, so maybe you can't wear any underwear with it, and it might take a few hours to get on, but hell is that so different from the leggings, jeans, and bodycon dresses girls wear today? No! There you have it, He, the King of Fashion, went deep into the crystal ball and is going to predict everyone jump on the Latex bandwagon now, before it blows up

Fashion by He...Meet The Little Black List

Ever since He started Fashion by He, He has always wanted to find a She to partner with, that He could team up with and bring the world two partner blogs. Never before has the FashionWorld seen something of this magnitude occur, nor will it probably ever happen again. It took a lot of searching to find the right person to team up with, but He knows for sure that The Little Black List is going to be a perfect match, Tess is without question He Approved. I should start by telling a little bit about myself. I'm a 25 year old San Franciscan Native residing in New York city. A true Scorpio by nature (yes I believe in all that astrology jazz) I am passionate, smart, a bit sneaky but mostly loyal and a believer in true love. I have a sharp wit and even quicker tongue. I like to wear vintage clothing from thrift stores, not vintage stores (and typically don't wash before wearing). I've spent the last sh*t ...6 years travelling, moving, shopping and falling in and out of love. Lived in Paris, Arachon, Morocco, San Francisco, New York, back to San Francisco and ending things in NEW YORK CITY. Through all my travels, boyfriends, learning experiences , growth and heartache one thing has sustained time and that is my enthusiasm and interest in fashion. I've realized this when I use outfits, shoes, accessories in reference to pin point a very specific time in my life. My fashion is most definitely a reflection of my current surroundings with the essence of my mother (a beautiful hippie from the Haight Ashbury living in the Napa Valley driving a Jaguar... Girl 2: Blondie number 2 is a bit older and looks like shes got an attitude, not that it's a bad thing. Crazy pattern on this strapless dress, and the fringey sh*t a the end is kinda weird. She too is wearing a strappy heel, but this time black is the color of choice to match her small bag. Neither chick is wearing much jewelry, He really thinks jewelry is underrated. Such a great way to add to an outfit, rings, stacked bracelets, a long necklace they all make for an easy way to add a little smoething extra.

FashionVOTE by He...Who Wore it Better...

Welcome back to our weekly FashionVOTE by He - Who Wore it Better? No doubt this is one of the hardest FashionVOTE by He that has been featured - Jeans, an Belt and heels/wedges. Both women are on the phone as well. These pictures are soo close it is almost like playing a game of PhotoHunt in a bar. Before He asks, "Who Wore it Better?" let's break down what we are looking at...

Girl 1: Hey blondie, nice slim fit jeans you got on there. Makes those legs and ass look great. Standing high a pair of wedges are always going to help the body out. The "big" issue here is the tight small belt blonde is wearing. It would appear that the help is a couple of sizes too small. He is all for belts to set off an outfit, but make sure the belt fits and doesn't take away from looking good.
Girl 2: He is a fan of the boyfriend thermal top, cute look. Another great pair of skin tight jeans and legs and ass that look even better because of the height of the heels. Girl 2 however choose a bigger wider oversized belt to spice up the outfit. It fits correctly and looks great.

FashionVOTE by He...Who Wore it Better?

He is really starting to believe that this is the ArmHe's favorite time of the week, FashionVOTE by He. This weeks addition of "FashionVOTE by He" is Diasy Dukes, well pretty much just two girls wearing cowboy (or is it cowgirl?) boots. Who Wore it Better? But first, let's break down what we are looking at...

Girl 1: Damn those are short shorts, but He likes it. Her top is simple just a plain (probably boyfriend) henley long sleeve shirt. Nice and comfortable. No jewelry to mention. Standard brown tall cowgirl boots. Probably rolled out of bed and threw on whatever was closest to her. Simple outfit, not blowing anyone away.
Girl 2: Rocking the low cowgirl boots. He doesn't understand this at all. Along the same lines of the "go big or go home" saying, if you're gonna wear something make it authentic. No real cowgirl is wearing boots that small, seems very silly. Jean mini skirt, can't make He unhappy there. Looks like a pink/purple ruffle tuxedo style shirt. Shades to block out the sun, but not He.

FashionVOTE by He...Who Wore it Better?

Two weeks in a row now we are back with the FashionVOTE by He, big fan of these type of posts. This weeks addition of "FashionVOTE by He" is Rompers and Wedges VS. a Dress and Wedges, let the dueling begin. Who Wore it Better? But first, let's break down what we are looking at...

Girl 1: Romper. This might be her younger sisters romper as her ass was nearly falling out the bottom. Smile. Her hair was all over the place, making He think its very possible, she was walking home from a "long night out." She has black wedges on that appear to be about 3" or so, but they don't even look like they mesh well with the outfit. Oddly enough she has a black bag that might or might not be the same one as Girl 2.
Girl 2: Dress instead of a romper, hmm the decision is yours. What catches He's eye the most are the wedges. These are real woman wedges, not that small as sh*t. Go Big or Go Home kind of wedges. It gets He's vote for those alone.

He has been holding back on the ArmHe, we have gone weeks without a Who Wore it Better post. This weeks addition of "FashionVOTE by He" is Rompers and Wedges, and it does not look like an easy vote. The question is: Who Wore it Better? But first, let's break down what we are looking at...

Girl 1: Sik romper. Now this we don't see too often, but He is a big fan of silk. Clingy, flowly, sexy material, gets instant points. With a odd cut out back this beauty went braless which as we all know gets major confidence points in He's book. Cork wedge shoes. Silver watch. Long hair another plus. Not much to find wrong with this outfit.
Girl 2: Flower romper. Floral print has been very popular this summer, He was never too much in love with it, but it works. Black wedges this time around and a gold watch. Girl 2 goes with the long dark hair, guess it depends if you're into blondes or brunettes.

FashionVOTE by He...Who Wore it Better?

This weeks addition of "FashionVOTE by He" is about oversized tshirt style dresses. Along the line of boyfriend look, some wear it with a belt, some wear with with shorts, others go straight skirt/dress. But the question remains:

Who Wore it Better? What are we looking at...
Girl 1: Believe it or not, Hair is a factor when evaluating a girl. Girl 1 has great hair. Some might even say, "Silky smooth." Very Tan, points there, everyone looks tanner in white, fyi. Long white dress, with a drawstring pull at the bottom. Big fan of the heels, this just goes to show that He's saying "the higher the heels the hotter the girl" is right again.
Girl 2: White glasses to match the dress and flip flops might be over kill to start off this look. This dress is much fluffier and free flowing then Girl 1, kind of fairy-esk. It is always hard to win Who wore it better in a pair of flip flops, it really is a game changer.

This weeks addition of "FashionVOTE by He" is about ruffle dresses. Always a big item during the summer, they blow in the wind, free flowing, and all that crap. But the question remains: Who Wore it Better?

What are we looking at?
Girl 1: White tank top tucked into the grey ruffle dress. He thinks she is finishing off the college look with a pair of Rainbow sandals. Would have to say this is more of the casual summer look. This is a time when He is not against the flat sandals. Still a cute outfit good for a walk around the city. He kind of likes the curly hair too.
Girl 2: Right off the batt, this girl means business. RayBann aviators Ipod going, don't stop her for anything. Similar to Girl 1, just a simple white tshirt, tucked into the ruffle skirt. Thicker elastic band at the top of the dress, and it seems to be a bit more high waisted. Two silver bracelets, He always enjoys some stacked jewelry on the arm, so points there. Everyone is going to comment on her bag, so insert comment here, He doesn't care to much about bags. Lastly, this girl finishes off the look strong with some wooden heels. Sorry not the best picture. As you can see heels on Girl 2, make her legs look a lot better then in Girl 1. Wear Heels!

Two girls who were going out for the night together. Both in He approved outfits, but now let's see who pulled off their looked better:

What are we looking at?
Girl 1: White sunglasses, not sure what is going on with those. Blue sheer button down shirt, over a white v-neck tshirt, simple look, but still sexy nonetheless. Mini skirt, and wedge heels. Skirt and heels look is usually a winner, a great way to make the legs look super long. Pink carry bag finishes it off, not sure that was the right color to go with.
Girl 2: Sunglasses on top of head. Stacked braclets, He is always a fan. Printed romper, and some type of spiderlike heels. She looks great in this romper/heel combo. Like girl 1, the heels enlongate her legs and make the whole body look better.

FashionVOTE by He...Who Wore it Better?

After a successful Who Wore it Better - Take 1, He decided that the ArmHe liked this game and that we would make it a new addition to Fashion by He. This one is going to bea a little harder as the looks are pretty similar, but He has faith you can pick a clear winner. Here is how it works, vote for the person you think wore the outfit better. These outfits are little more similar last time, let's get right down to it.

What are we looking at?
Girl 1: Let's start from the bottom up. Boat shoes, jean shorts, but a longer short then He is used to. Oversized (boyfriend) style long sleeve white shirt. She finishes off the look with a dark colored Indiana Jones style hat.
Girl 2: Again looking from the ground up. Ballet shoes, eeeek, not a good start sweetheart. Short jean shorts, this is definitely moving in the right direciton. Plain grey tshirt, which He thinks can be simple and sexy. Girl 2 finishes off the look with your typical fedora hat. Also nicely addes a few stacked braclets and a pair of sunglasses to finish the look.

FashionVOTING by He...Who Wore it Better?

Another first here at Fashion by He, but that is the least bit suprising considering He is inventing new things every day. He decided that we will call this game FashionVOTING by He (who wore it better). Here is how it works, vote for the person you think wore the outfit better. He tried to get two similar outfits, of course they aren't the same, but give He a f*cking break, all the pictures are taken by He.


What are we looking at?
Girl 1: Wearing a little floral maxi shirt thing and a pair of tiny shorts, that are not even visible. Wedge heels and some big old bag she could be hiding a child in its so big. Appears to be waiting for public transportation for a trip to an unknown location.
He's Take: Cute outfit, but the girl comes off a little disheveled. Big fan of the wedge heels and invisible shorts. Girl 1 makes a good argument for He's vote.

Girl 2: Pretty sure it's a floral romper, but no one except the guy in the picture can be certain. Has on some flat boots, high socks and a long necklace to finish off the outfit. Just because she is dating a leach (aka the guy in the pic) doesn't mean we should hold that against her.
He's Take: He is a huge fan of rompers, nothing bad ever to say about them. He also likes the high socks, but flat boots never win points with He. Nice accessories finish off the look, as He has said before, 'its all in the details."
