A7x will has preform at the Hard Rock hotel April 18, with special guest Atreyu and Rev Theory (last chance to catch them live in O.C.!). Later on this year the band will began to record their new material… Such a great thing to hear haha!
“If I could offer one piece of inside info it would be that these shows are the ones to see. We will be celebrating a very successful run and 10 years of madness that all started in the great state of California (though our friends in Las Vegas know how to throw a party so we can’t leave them out either). We are f*cking excited to be home and leave everything we have on the table before we get to work on a new kick-ass album. On February 28, 2010 Avenged Sevenfold drummer named Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan or often called by the name of The Rev had died. The Rev is one of the best drummers the world and among the band's youngest professional drummer. Besides drummer, The Rev is also a backing vocalist in some songs Avenged Sevenfold and a pianist.
Death of The Rev. great influence on the band Avenged Sevenfold. Even one of the personnel named Synyster Gates (Lead Guitar) states that: "The Rev is my best friend and nothing will be able to replace him." Many fans are also very sad and some that still do not believe that The Rev was not there. Avenged Sevenfold band also had off from jobnya because they still have not found a replacement The Rev. And they're making his sixth album entitled "Eternal Soldier".
After I find information about Avenged Sevenfold, it turns out there who replaced the Rev. namely Mike Portnoy (MP) he is the drummer of the band Dream Theater. And he is the number one drummer in the world. Currently, Mike and Avenged Sevenfold is undergoing manufacture their newest album that reportedly will be released in July.

Avenged Sevenfold is an American rock band from Huntington Beach, California, formed in 1999. The band consists of vocalist M. Shadows, lead guitarist Synyster Gates, rhythm guitarist Zacky Vengeance and bassist Johnny Christ.
Avenged Sevenfold emerged with a metalcore sound on their debut Sounding the Seventh Trumpet, which included primarily screamed vocals. The band changed their style on their third album and first major label release, City of Evil, which features more melodic vocals and power ballads. The band continued to explore new sounds with their self titled release and enjoyed continued mainstream success before their drummer, James "The Rev" Sullivan, died of heart disease and combined effect of drugs and alcohol in his body in 2009. Despite his death, the band continued on with help of then Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy and released their fifth album Nightmare in 2010 which debuted on the top spot of the Billboard 200, a first for the band.
To date, Avenged Sevenfold has released five studio albums, one live album/compilation/DVD, and fifteen singles. The band themselves have received much credit for their worldwide mainstream success and were most notably proclaimed as one of the leaders and key bands in the New Wave of American Heavy Metal and were featured as second place on Ultimate Guitar's Top Ten Bands of the Decade.

Rev" Sullivan, who died earlier this week of still-undetermined causes. As we reported earlier today, the outpouring of support and sympathy for Sullivan's bandmates, friends and family has been as overwhelming as his passing. The people closest to him got together on Monday (December 28) to share memories and stories about the drummer, an event that, according to Jacobson, ranged from "deep and somber to smiles and laughs as they began to reminisce about the experiences everybody had with him. He was a loving son and a loving brother — like no one you'd ever seen, and talented beyond people's perception." The band, who started out as teenagers in their hometown of Huntington Beach, were at work on their fifth full-length studio album, and though it isn't clear how they will go about working without Sullivan, Jacobson thinks their bond will help them through such a tough time. "Never in my life have I seen a relationship like that," he said. "And I think the relationship the four have right now will help them get through this traumatic time."
