Sometimes color is overrated.Leave it to DK to go her own way. In a season where it has been collectively decided that color! is in! Donna Karan decides to go with a romantic, nature-inspired, sepia-toned collection that calls to mind a woman ducking out of the red carpet so she can go on safari and have Robert Redford wash her hair from a bucket. We adore this collection. It moves beautifully and we love the subtle uses of metallic and print. We respect that DK is going to dress the woman in her imagination and not the woman that all the trend-spotters say she's supposed to dress. It's a philosophy that's served her well so far and when you look at the feminine, romantic, ethereal pieces in this collection, can you really argue with the results?
