Get those bitchpants on, kittens.

Age: 29
Birthplace/Hometown:
Brigham City, UT
Current Home:
Layton, UT
Current occupation? Fashion designer.
Favorite Designers: Coco Chanel, Jean Paul Gaultier
Style Icon: Kate Moss
What is a fashion must? A really nice pair of jeans!
What are your strengths as a designer? My passion for designing, and seeing the finished product with shoes, accessories, hair.
How would you dress first lady Michelle Obama? A tailored skirt. I just don't think the fuller skirts look that great on her.
What's influenced your designs over the years? Everything I surround myself with, so my aesthetic is always evolving.
What fashion faux pas drives you crazy? Capri pants.
Project Runway challenge you wish they'd bring back for your season? The Levi challenge.
Favorite Past Project Runway Designer: Seth Aaron Henderson, Season 7. He was just such a good person, and his runway show was amazing!

The married mother of a baby girl realized her design potential in college at The Academy of Art University in San Francisco where she continually received positive feedback on her work. Influenced by her surroundings, McKell’s designs are ever-changing as her aesthetic evolves as she moves from place to place. Laid back in nature, McKell made the cut to be on the show on her very first time auditioning which indicates her level of talent and passion for designing.

Why she’ll win?
McKell is able to see the finished product for her designs, including shoes, accessories and hair which is vital in making a look standout on the catwalk.

Home Visit:
Entirely too sweet for the Fashion Bitches of New York City. They're going to eat her alive. Those children's clothes are adorable.

Casting Session:
There's definitely an editing issue there, but the pieces she showed were interesting and we'll always love a gal who loves a print.

Portfolio:

Oddly enough, these pieces don't look nearly as overdesigned as they did in her casting. They're cute. Simple basics with some romantic flourishes. Which is kind of odd given her self-proclaimed hippy style.

Here's hoping we don't hear about how much she misses her baby every ten minutes.

Michael Drummond
Age: 31
Birthplace/Hometown:
St. Louis, MO
Current Home:
St. Louis, MO
Current occupation? Knitwear designer/freelance stylist.
Who are your favorite style icons? Tilda Swinton.
Favorite designer(s)? Issey Miyake, Alexander McQueen (R.I.P.), and Viktor & Rolf.
What is a fashion must? Fashion is a must, unless you want to be naked.
What are your strengths as a designer? I keep an open mind and I do not give up.
What's influenced your designs over the years? Everything from songs to dead bugs to diseases and fables. Also architects and architecture.
What fashion faux pas drives you crazy? I don't like baseball jerseys.
What celebrity would you like to design for? Bjork. A really tacky dress like a waterfall with swans diving in it to get fish.
Project Runway challenge you hope they bring back for your season? The ''dress a drag queen'' one.
Favorite designer from past seasons of Project Runway? I'm not saying.

Michael attended half a semester at The Academy of Art College in San Francisco, studying knitwear design, but quickly dropped out and went at the design process on his own. He purchased a "prehistoric" knitting machine from a yarn shop but it took him two years before he made a dress that could actually be worn. The dress ended up in the hands of a professor at Washington University who later hired Michael to design garments for many dance and theater shows. Michael also designed for Skif International and worked for The Opera Theatre of St. Louis. Primarily a knitwear designer, Michael finds inspiration from architects, buildings and bones.

Why he'll win?
Michael keep an open mind and doesn't give up. He is also driven to succeed by his desire to make a social impact through his work.

Home Visit:
As we said before, we'll always cheer on a big girl fashion designer but the Truman Capote voice might get on our nerves after a while.

Casting Session:
To use a Tim-ism, we're kind of perplexed at the gushing over his pieces. The major question that remains unasked is, how is a knitwear designer going to fare in a competition that almost never utilizes knits?

Portfolio:

Lorenzo thinks the looks are interesting and that he's got a strong point of view. Tom thinks these looks are awfully inelegant and clumsy-looking. We're both in agreement that he's gonna have a problem in the competition if he can only do knitwear.
