With the New Year start the new calls to Fashion Weeks all over the world!Miami International Fashion Week is the largest Latin American and international fashion event on US soil.
Both Sobol founded Miami Fashion Week in 1999 after a prolific 25-year career as an international fashion model in more than 30 countries.
Although at first Beth sought to provide a platform for Latin American designers, now the event spotlights many more designers from Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia.
Miami Beach International Fashion Week merges international celebrities and entertainers with designers from around the world, bringing together some of the most celebrated artists, such as Shakira, Carolina Herrera, Oscar de la Renta, Mary McFadden, Carlos Ponce, Patricia Field, Albita, and many more.
The Culinary Arts Café features a different celebrity chef each night, preparing a fashionable tasting menu based on the countries and cultures of the participating designers. Each course is accompanied by a different wine pairing to further compliment the dish.
With over 10,000 spectators in attendance of the event, Miami International Fashion Week attracts over 600 international media and 300 buyers from around the globe.
The 13th annual Miami Beach International Fashion Week™ will take place Thursday - Sunday, March 3 – 6, 2011Miami Beach Convention Center Hall A.
