We're not sure how to assess this one. Taken on its own, it's a pretty drab dress. We're all for unusual colors on the red carpet (really we are) and we'll admit that it does work for her coloring, but it's not exactly a fun or attention-getting hue and whether starlets want to admit it or not, you dress on the red carpet to get attention. Design-wise, it's just okay. Another Wilma dress with another big ruffle.
On the other hand, the hair and makeup are great (although her face is a little shiny) and we like that she went understated on the jewelry here. Really, our only complaint is with the color. It's a big complaint, because it's the first thing people notice and it "sets the tone" for the outfit, but we can't look at a woman that looks as pretty as she does and declare her anything but an IN even though we think the outfit is only so-so. Sometimes a so-so dress is all a girl needs if she's got it going on.
