Sunday Morning Worship: Blanchett
We'll let fabulous L.A. -based Decades Inc., the "international destination for glamorous vintage couture," do the explaining here. They've earned the right to crow:
"The most luminous movie star of our time, Oscar winner and style icon extraordinaire Cate Blanchett, is currently in Beijing for SKII and has announced their new "Live Clear" campaign. Inspired by SK-II brand ambassador Cate Blanchett's donation of 3 million liters of clean water to communities in need, in honor of the skin care line's 30th anniversary in January, SK-II's new "Clear for Life" project pledges to supply 30 million liters of clean water to communities across Asia. The program will be carried out by the Children's Safe Drinking Water program, the focal philanthropic initiative of SK-II's parent company P&G, and various organizations across Asia.
At a gala last night in Beijing, Cate, the Great, chose the extraordinary archival Christian Lacroix Haute Couture gown we JUST posted and made it entirely her own by styling it back to front. "
Darlings, she's fabulous on an international level. Let's don't say IN or OUT for this one. Cate is beyond such classifications now. Behold:
It's about time someone built a church to her, wouldn't you say? She looks amazing. You can see detailed closeups of the dress here. It's worth oohing and ahhing over as you have your Sunday coffee.
