Obligatory cute guy picture, which gets us linked on all the gay blogs. Hi boys!
Model: Rose
So this morning we sat down and had our little editorial meeting, complete with cats and coffee. The behind-schedule Project Runway postings were discussed and it was unanimously decided that we should do the Top Two post today. "Who was in the Top Two besides Ivy?" we wondered, because it had been a couple days and we're only human.
"THAT? That was in the Top Two?" we exclaimed, after a moment's research. Herein ends our little glimpse behind the scenes at T Lo International Media Consolidated.
Look, we don't mean to be dismissive, but we'll say it again: Christopher at his best is only showing competent department store looks. There's nothing inherently wrong with that and one can have quite the career doing it, but it's not design competition work.
And this is just more of the same.
Nothing bad about it, just blandly pretty with a simple flourish. Something you'd buy to wear to a wedding of a co-worker.
The only point of interest was the wrap and that, of course, was hiddy.
Like something made from the hide of an animal that suffered from psoriasis.
It's a bit of a testament as to just how much crap was on that runway this week that this would make it into the top two. It's not a bad dress at all. But honestly, that's the best thing we can say about it.

Extended Judging:
We know it's fun to hate her this season, but we'll risk the tomato-throwing by declaring it now.
This was our pick for the win.
Hear us out. We acknowledge the deficiencies of this look and we'll get to them in a second, but she deserved recognition for a couple of reasons. One, this is true sportswear, unlike the array of cocktail dresses and cargo pants offered by other designers.
For another, to our eyes, it really does embody the kind of thinking behind Jackie's personal style.
Her clothes had an easy and simple chicness to them; clean lines and urban sophistication. This was very much in that vein.
Unfortunately, and ironically in the episode where everyone kept talking about what a great seamstress she is, the execution made this look less clean than it could have and should have been.
And that coat definitely ran into some problems. The back is pretty sloppy, although we don't know if that necessarily means it was badly made. It could just be sloppily styled.
And she got just a little too cute with the front of it.
We liked the basic thought behind it - the asymmetric quality echoes the collar on the blouse - but she just took it way too far. That keyhole effect looks sloppy and slightly vulgar.
Still, we really love that top.
She's still working in that "hospital curtain" style. Apparently, fainting was the greatest thing that ever happened to her.
And while we liked the fit of the pants...
...they kind of ended badly.
So sure, it had some problems, but overall, it felt like the most stylish, most exemplary of classic American sportswear, and most like a modern Jackie look without coming too close to consciously aping her more iconic looks. Hate us if you want, but we thought this was the best of the bunch this week.
