Darlings, sometimes the whole IN or OUT concept frustrates us. It's a little limiting. There are plenty of times where we are "forced" into designating a look IN even though there are problems with it, or OUT even though there's a lot of good in it. But as a trio of famous philosophers once said, "You gotta have a gimmick," and IN or OUT has served us well, so we keep it. Our point is... well, just look at her.
We think that's a great dress and it suits her well (although we like the original sleeve detail more). The glaring issue here is Susan Sarandon's stubborn refusal to admit that gravity and time work on her boobs the same way they work on everything else. Either she's wearing the floppiest, flimsiest, oldest, most worn out bra, or she's not wearing a bra at all. We're not sure which is worse. Susan, sweetie. We're gonna give it to you (haha) straight: You're rich and you've got huge tits. Go pay an expert to fit you with a good bra.
Second, we salute her for still working it well into her sixties. And we completely understand if a gal feels she's earned the right to no longer totter around on podiatrists' wet dreams. But Susan, honey. There are better shoes to pick than those. You minions may proceed with your fainting as soon as you read this: we think she should have gone with a nude shoe. That black draws the eye down and when the eye gets to the bottom it says, "Wow, what a shitty pair of shoes!"
But we really love the dress! It's perfect for her! Susan! It's all in the details, doll! It sucks because the dress is such a good starting point for her but we're going to have to give her an OUT for dropping the ball on the finishing.
