Serious party girls.
Season 6 Project Runway finalist Althea Harper knows what she likes and she likes young, urban, body conscious clothes. She couldn't have found a better representation of her clientele than Kim Kardashian, who wore one of her creations for some promo pictures a little while back. You can roll your eyes at Kim all you want, but she's a person of interest in the world of fashion and people pay attention to what she's wearing. That was a major coup for Althea. She's following that up with this collection of body hugging dresses and slightly more forgiving separates, rendered in cool greys and neutrals. It's got a very L.A., "dress the body" kind of vibe to it. For what it is, it's done quite well. We especially like the silver grey sheath dress with the square neckline and the white dress with the black floral pattern on it. The girl does like her sheer cutouts, but at least she's somewhat subtle in the application.
