Amber Riley
She's been getting some bad advice lately. For a while there she was demonstrating a good understanding of how to dress her body, but we're not seeing that here. This is a terrible choice for her.
Ashley Greene in Giambattista Valli Resort 2011
Pretty and classic.
Ciara in Givenchy Fall 2010 Couture
This was not a dress improved by the addition of a coochie slit.
Emma Stone in Pucci
She looks like she works in a Calvin Klein store.
Florence Welsh in Givenchy Fall 2010 Couture
We like it better with the jacket and the belt, but there's enough going on with just the dress that it still looks like a complete look. She's rocking it.
Jane Lynch
Oh dear.
The thing is, you can totally do lesbian chic for the red carpet. She's not doing that. She's doing "lesbian standard" and she's too attractive and has too much of a spotlight on her to be dressing like this. Jane honey, you can wear pants and still look fabulous. Let us show you the way.

Selena Gomez in Reem Acra Resort 2011
Enh. Another Reynold's Wrap dress.
Audrina Patridge in Isaac Mizrahi Fall 2010
What shitty accessorizing. A bunch of belts and bracelets that match the dress exactly and then shoes in an opposing metallic. Amateur hour.
Bonnie McKee
Okay, that other chick looked like a clerk in a CK store, but that's definitely a step up from looking like a hostess at a strip joint.
Evan Rachel Wood in Gucci Resort 2011
How freaking small is she that she's swimming inside a sample size? Not the dress for her and not the dress to be paired with knee-high boots.
Katy Perry in Marchesa Fall 2010We like this dress on her. She should have worn the patterned tights because they really complete the look.
Kesha
Ke$ha happily informed the press that her dress was made out of trash bags. The press happily informed her that they could tell from a block away.
Lady Gaga in Alexander McQueen
Say what you will, but when the bitch brings it, she really brings it. She looks amazing here. Totally off on her own planet.
Lady Gaga in Franc Fernandez
And here she is making her statement for the night. We don't want to be old fogeys so we won't point out how obvious the meat statement is to make and how artlessly it's being made. We'll just give her the props for attempting to make a statement at all. Here's her explanation:
“Well, it is certainly no disrespect to anyone that is vegan or vegetarian,” Gaga explained. “As you know, I am the most judgement-free human being on the earth. However, it has many interpretations. For me this evening, if we don’t stand up for what we believe in and if we don’t fight for our rights pretty soon, we’re going to have as much rights as the meat on own bones. And, I am not a piece of meat.”
