Yes, T Lo's favorite actress Jennifer Aniston has an editorial in the latest issue of Harper's Bazaar where she's all done up like classic Barbra Streisand.
This is one of those things that when you encounter it, the only natural reaction is "Wait. Did I just see what I just saw?" Hat's off to whoever came up with the idea for this one. It's so bizarre and yet it instantly grabs your attention. You HAVE to stop and take a look. What's next? "Reese Witherspoon IS Diana Ross!"
Of course there is the requisite interview, tidbits of which we will get out of the way first so we can all look at the pictures.
Aniston on what she's learned from Barbra: “You don’t have to stop at one thing. You can do it all if you want to.”
On being a funny girl: "People laugh at me. Sometimes I know why, and sometimes I don't. But I can pretty much find humor in anything. That is a necessary part of life. I don't want to say laughter is healing, because it sounds corny, but it's a release."
On being in the spotlight: "[Barbra and I] are people who have been put in the spotlight, for better or for worse, and you just keep riding, and you keep overcoming."
On looking up to Streisand: "Barbra inspires me because there isn't anything she hasn't done that she wanted to do, especially as a female in the time when her generation was prime. She's a true renaissance woman. ... I had a long conversation with Barbra about directing because I directed a short a couple years ago, and if I don't do it again soon, I'm going to burst out of my skin. And we also love interior design."
Okay, enough publicist-generated pablum. Let's check out the goods.

You know what? She looks pretty fabulous here. Maybe that's because it's the first time in a decade her look's been changed up in any way. She should really consider a short haircut. She can rock the hell out of them and it would be just shocking enough that she'd get a lot of press out of it. The scary nails and drag queen eye makeup? Probably not. Still, kudos all around because it seems like everyone on the internet is talking about this today and the pictures (by Mark Seliger) look pretty good to boot.
P.S. to impatient bitter kittens: We'll have a Mad Style up later today, looking at those fabulous Christmas party fashions.
