Let's start off the morning by sticking our foot in it.Baby kitty (which for once, refers to an actual feline) needs to go to the vet for a checkup to finalize the adoption. While we're sitting in a waiting room with a VERY vocal cat who will no doubt be embarrassing us with the choral piece issuing forth from her carrier, you can all yell at us for saying the following.

Wrong dress, wrong girl. This is a super-cute dress, no doubt. It's just not right for America here. And before you get all up in our collective grill, yes, it comes down to body type; no, we're not saying she's too big to wear pretty dresses. She's not too big for anything. She has a perfectly lovely, proportionate body. Okay? We all cool here? Let's put down the gun and talk.
Seriously, it's about proportion. Every design detail; the waist, the hem, the shoulder, the fit in the hips and bust, all of them combine to make a dress that's simply wrong for her body type. We've seen her in plenty of fitted dresses and she almost always looks spectacular in them, but this cuts her off in all sorts of weird places and draws the eye all over the place. In addition, we think this is not her color. It's not working with her skin tone but that might have something to do with the fact that she's wearing what we would consider the wrong makeup for this dress. The shoes are cute, but that's honestly the only compliment we can pay here. She doesn't look horrible by any stretch of the imagination, but when we look at her in this outfit, all we see are a series of bad choices. OUT.
