First Lady Michelle Obama watches dance students from Duke Ellington School of the Arts and the Joy of Motion Dance Center rehearse a segment from the Broadway show 'Hairspray' at the White House.

This is another of those "one step forward, two steps back" looks for her. In the "forward" category, we have the silhouette, which looks really great on her. She should definitely add more wide-legged pants to her arsenal. In the "two steps back" category we have the length. Come on now, Mrs. O. Is there no one with a needle and thread in the White House who can hem those for you? We're also not too keen on the color but that's really a minor complaint. Overall, it's heading in the right direction. It flatters the hell out of her and she looks sleek and chic. We just wish we could see her feet when she's standing up.
