What is a fashion must? Blazers, blazers, blazers!!!

While other teens her age were shopping for their prom dress, April decided to get creative and make her own. It was then that she realized her potential as a designer and pursued a bachelor’s degree in fashion design at the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). During her time in college, among juried collections of undergraduate and graduate student work, two of the garments she designed were chosen to be a part of the 2010 SCAD annual fashion show. April’s designs are inspired by the decayed beauty of asylums and morgues which allow her to be able to design in a dark, romantic way.
Why she’ll win?
April believes she will win because she is the most creative individual who is young and motivated. She is always ready to take on challenges and make them her own.
"April believes she will win because she is the most creative individual who is young and motivated?" What? T Lo is not impressed with that response, which looks like it was written by a drunk person who is young and drunk.

Yeah, not loving it. Very student-y. Which means she was cast in the role of "student who throws crazy shit down the runway that makes Nina's eyes bug out and makes Michael utter quips that have the word "disco" in them.

What is a fashion must? A reallllly amazing, slimming jacket in black!
What are your strengths as a designer? Draping, fit and my time to deliver a finished garment.
What are your weaknesses as a designer? Invisible zippers, men's clothing, some tailored pants.
What's influenced your designs over the years? In the past, low-cut styles from Valentino and Versace. Now, more structured styles like YSL.
What fashion faux pas drives you crazy? 'Muffin tops,'' large women in tight shirts with skinny jeans.
Project Runway challenge you hope they bring back for your season? I would've kicked ass on the Sarah Jessica Parker ''Bitten'' challenge or the drag-queen one!

Michael has been designing and sketching dresses since he was four years old. After befriending a seamstress at 14, he reached a turning point in his life where he was able to transform his one-dimensional sketches on paper, to three-dimensional, wearable pieces. He was instantly hooked and knew that he would spend the rest of his life as a fashion designer. He has no formal training in design but simply learned to first sew by hand, then advanced to making dresses on an industrial sewing machine. Today, Michael is living his dream as a fashion designer and most recently won a Project ASID Award for designing a dress made of upholstery and wallpaper.
Why he’ll win?
Michael knows the business and how to appeal to a buyer’s eye. He lives, sleeps, eats, drinks fashion and feels that without a doubt, he is the best.
Without even looking at his portfolio, we read all that and thought "Tacky queen."

That's so weird. His portfolio doesn't look anything like the stuff he showed during his audition. We don't LOVE the dresses he showed the judges but they were better than this.
