"TheTwilight Saga: Eclipse" LA Premiere

Thrilled to be here.

Last night saw the premiere of a small independent film that you might not have heard of called "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse" during the 2010 Los Angeles Film Festival at Nokia Theatre L.A. in Los Angeles. Various sullen-faced celebrities put on expensive clothes and smiled for the cameras. Let's judge them.

Anna Kendrick in Marchesa Resort 2011

PLEASE, we're BEGGING you, celebrities. ENOUGH with the frigging Marchesa! We are sick to death of ingenues appearing on red carpets looking like cleverly folded napkins or party favors. There's nothing wrong with this dress, in fact, it's cute, but Jesus Christ on a stick, ENOUGH.

Of course they're all doing it to stay in Harvey Weinstein's good graces, so they're not going to listen to us and we'll continue to see these toilet paper covers for a good while.

Oh, and her hair looks cute.

Ashley Greene in Alexis Mabille Fall 2010

We don't exactly love the runway version but without the sleeve detail this just looks like she wrapped herself in a sheet the way people do on television after they've had sex (but no one anywhere in real life does).

Dakota Fanning in Elie Saab Fall 2010 Couture

We love the way this girl dresses. We're not entirely convinced that this works with her coloring but it's a super-cute dress and some kickass shoes.

Elizabeth Reaser in Zuhair Murad Spring 2010

Our only critique is that she shouldn't have ditched the belt. It looks good on her, but it looks better with something breaking it up and defining the waist.

Jennifer Love Hewitt in Dolce & Gabbana Spring 2010

We're not sure what's not working here but we like the dress on the model and hate it on her. Part of that is because she went with a nude underlay instead of the black the model is wearing, but ultimately, it's just not the dress for her. The skirt sits on her totally differently and not in an entirely flattering way. Also, she's orange.

Kristen Stewart in Elie Saab Fall 2009 Couture

Hair and makeup look great. We give her props for wearing such an unusual dress but we can't say we like it all that much. We hate how long the sleeve is on her and the other side just looks like she got attacked on the way there and had a sleeve ripped off.

Nikki Reed in Marchesa Fall 2010

TOILET PAPER COVER. We rest our case. Starlets, say NO to Marchesa!

Robert Pattinson in Gucci Fall 2010

This is the best he's looked in, well, ever. Great color, great fit. We liked it better with the darker shirt, but the grey is probably better with his coloring. Love the hair.
