There's a difference between being "actress beautiful" and "model beautiful" and subsequently, most models don't make good actresses and most actresses don't make good models. There are exceptions of course, but our point is, most actresses don't understand how to maximize their looks for that one perfect shot, how to punch through the lens with their charisma, and how to use their body to make an article of clothing sing for the camera. Everyone likes to joke that models don't actually work for a living and sure, it's not digging ditches or feeding the poor, but it IS a job, and it DOES require a skillset.
The point is, every once in a while an actress comes along who has the poise and the charisma and the knowledge of her face and body required for a an eye-catching editorial. Obviously, we think Morena is one of those actresses. Seriously, if you'd never heard of her before (which would be impossible with all our fanboy shrieking, we know), wouldn't you think this was the work of a highly paid and highly sought after model at the top of her game? And unlike most actress editorials, which are full of fluffy, relatively easy to wear red carpet gowns, this one's got Morena modeling some pieces that aren't exactly easy to pull off and in every single instance she looks better than the model who wore it on the runway.
Plus, we just love that they put her in so many lizard-inspired pieces. Cheeky bitches.
