Gordana Gehlhausen Fall 2010 Collection

Go, go, Goga!

Season 6 Project Runway favorite Gordana Gehlhausen presented her Fall 2010 Collection at Charleston Fashion Week and L.A. Fashion Week. She says, "My inspiration came from my recent trip to China where I got inspired by the Mongolian influence. A lot of textures, knits and rabbit fur."

Oh, no! We just got finished saying we were sick of "sherpa chic" on the runways! Thankfully, this collection is light on the Sherpa and heavy on the chic. Not everyone's going to be happy to hear she used rabbit fur, but her usual tendency to combine textures is here and done well. We love the knit pieces and we LOVE that purple striped gown. It's a collection of very wearable pieces with that Goga flair that gives them a little something, whether it's the layering, the textures, or the distressed and washed out dying techniques, it's Gordana doing what she does best.
